Prof Dr Awadhesh Kumar Singh is appointed as the first Vice Chancellor of Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University, Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh on 4th of January 2022 and he had joined on 6th of January. He was primarily Director & Principal of Shubhdeep Ayurvedic medical College & Hospital, Indore, Madhya Pradesh for fourteen years. He has completed BAMS in 1984 and MD Ayurved in 1989 from Calcutta University. He is continuing his services in Ayurveda Therapy, education and innovation since last thirty 35 years. He is giving his services with PG committee, UGC and PG expert. Furthermore, he is the Chairman of Devi Ahilya University, Indore and member of Studies in Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University. He PG Guide of forty-eight students and organized 04 National seminars. He was invited as the best speaker in America in 1999. He is giving his valuable services in different National and International Universities. More than sixty seven papers have been published by Dr Singh and was involved physically in trial process for more than eighty four medicines.

Dr. K.R.C. Reddy gradually acquired highest degrees BAMS, M.D (Ayu), Ph.D. (Ayu), H.P.A Edu., CLAD (Japan), D.Lit, all these degrees are pertaining to Ayurveda (Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana) from various Universities of India and Abroad. Dr. Reddy wrote 24 great Ayurveda books in Sanskrit and English. Dr.Reddy have tried to establish Ayurveda in a scientific manner at international level. Few books are referred by students and scholars of BAMS and M.D. (Ayu) because they are presented as per syllabus and also referred by persons working in Ayurvedic Drug Industries. Dr.Reddy also published some of unpublished Ayurveda treatises belongs to 15th AD of ancient Andhra Pradesh such as Parahita Samhita, Vaidyachintamani (big compendium of Ayurveda formulations) which are written in Sanskrit Slokas with Telugu script during 15th A.D. and Dr.Reddy published these treatises Slokas in Devanagari script with English commentary in scientific maner and after its publication by Dr.Reddy these books were circulated all over the world and became base for many research works conducted over the formulations of Vaidyachintamani e.g. Effect of Lodhradi kashaya spray drier powder for the management of Type-2 Diabetes mellitus. Like this Dr.Reddy carried out research on many formulations which are mentioned in Vaidyachintamani for the first time published in English and Sanskrit. Dr.Reddy have published more than 90 research papers in international journals and some of the articles are having good impact factor. These are available on web (i.e. ORCID No-0000-0003-2516-5373 and Research gate etc.). Prof.K.Rama Chandra Reddy is well known for his valuable contribution in the field of Ayurveda pertaining to Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics (Rasashastra and Bhaisajya Kalpana). During the last twenty seven years he was written on various aspects of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya kalpana Literary, Scientific, Conceptual as well as practical aspects of Ayurvedic drug manufacturing. He is also worked as Research fellow in Japan. He is appointed as subject expert member in T.K.D.L under CSIR, New Delhi. Dr.Reddy also worked as Taskforse member of Ayurveda in T.K.D.L under CSIR, New Delhi. Further from 2018 to March 2020 Dr.Reddy also worked as member of Ayurvedic pharmacopoeia committee- Unani pharmacopoeia committee- Siddha pharmacopoeia committee- Homeopathy pharmacopoeia committee- United states pharmacopoeia committee.

He is appointed as Head, Dept of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana in NKJ Ayurvedic Medical College, Bidar (Karnataka) and then he is appointed as a Head, Dept. of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana in Hasan (Karnataka). Further he is also worked as Asst Professor & Manager-Pharmacy in National Institute of Ayurveda, Ministry of AYUSH, Jaipur.In 2011 Dr.Reddy also appointed as Visiting Professor in University of Hyderabad (Central University), Gachibaouli, Hyderabad. He is also appointed two times as Head, Dept. of Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana, two times as Superintendent for Ayurvedic Pharmacy, Faculty of Ayuveda, Institute of Medical Sciences, B.H.U. Varanasi .He is also appointed as Co-ordinator, B-Pharma (Ayu) and M.Pharma (Ayu) courses running at RGSC,BHU. Further Dr.Reddy appointed as Director, Pharmacopoeia Commission for Indian Medicine & Homeopathy (PCIM&H), Ministry of AYUSH and Director In-charge, Pharmacopoeal Laboratory for Indian Medicine (PLIM), Ministry of AYUSH, Govt of India. By working in various prestigious Universities and Organizations in India and Abroad Dr.Reddy has acquired best knowledge in his concerned field. Dr.Reddy is recipient of Dr Vaidyaratna Capt. G .Srinivasa Murthy Scientist Award and Gold Medal by Academy of Ayuveda (A research Institute),Vijayawada, A.P. He is also awarded by the prestigious first National Award Acharya Ratna by KAP Ltd, Kerala. Further he is also awarded Nagarjuna Award by president of Association of Ayurvedic professionals of North America (AAPNA). At present Dr.Reddy is continuing as Professor, Dept. Of Rasa shastra and Bhaishajya kalpana, Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu Univrsity, Varanasi and presently Dr.Reddy in collaboration of Allopathic doctors developed various Ayurveda formulations which are antivirus in nature and effective against COVID-19. The entire project is leaded by Dr.Reddy and his team.
